Baruntse Expedition 7,162m combined with Mera Peak 6,476m is an exciting and challenging journey in the Khumbu region of Nepal. This adventure includes climbing two stunning peaks, Mera Peak and Baruntse, as well as crossing the difficult Amphu Lapcha Pass. Along the way, trekkers also experience the beauty of Himalayan culture and landscapes.

The trip begins in Phaplu, a small sherpa village in the Solu Khumbu region. Starting at this lower altitude helps trekkers adjust to the heights as they travel through beautiful forests, farmlands, and Sherpa villages. The path leads to Mera Peak, the highest trekking peak in Nepal at 6,476 meters. Climbing Mera Peak is thrilling and gives breathtaking views of some of the tallest mountains in the world, like Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga.

  • Arrival and Departure: Pick-up and drop-off by private vehicle.

  • Meals and Accommodation: 3 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) along with tea and coffee.

  • Airfare: International flight airfare (from and to Kathmandu).
  • Nepal Entry Visa Fee: The Nepalese visa fee is $125 USD for 90 days.
  • Lunch & Dinner: Lunch and dinner during your stay in Kathmandu, including in case of early return from trekking or expedition.
  • Extra Nights in Kathmandu: Additional accommodation costs for extra nights in Kathmandu due to early arrival, late departure, or changes to the trekking itinerary.
  • Insurance Policy: Insurance covering medical costs, high-altitude evacuation, trip cancellation, interruption, medical treatment, and repatriation. Mandatory.
